Solitary plasmacytoma is a relatively rare lesion, account for less than 10% of all plasma cell malignancies.
A case of solitary plasmacytoma of rib in a 65-year-old man is presented. Chest PA showed a bubblyexpansile osteolytic lesion in left 3rd rib with direct extension to the extrapleural lesion. Microscopic fndings were sheets of well differentiated plasma cells with plenty vascular tissue and scant fibrous stroma. Serum immunoelectrophoresis revealed. a monoclonal gammopathy (IgG, Kappa). There was no other pathologic lesion in the bone and soft tissues.
